Photographic Venues

The Rosetown Photography Club has three locations where their prints are on display.

The main venue is the Hallway Gallery in a mini-mall at 311 Main Street in Rosetown. On the North wall, a Club Theme is displayed with prints by several club members; the South wall displays the Member Showcase where one member shows an exhibit of his or her photographs. These exhibits are changed every two months.

A second venue is the office of the Heartland Health Regional Office on Highway #4 South. Ten prints are displayed here on a two month rotation.

The third location is the Edna Foster Gallery at the Rosetown and District Museum, located on Colwell Road. This exhibition is usually on an antique or historical theme and is displayed from May to September, changed annually.

Another way in which the Rosetown Photography Club shares its members’ photos with the public is the annual RPC Digital Slide Show. In April 2008, the RPC held a public slide show in which eight different members showed a brief (5 to 10 minute) digital slide show of their work. This was well received and is planned to become an annual event.
